KARAK:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA and district president of the party Gul Sahib Khan has decided to issue a show-cause notice to MNA Nasir Khan for his alleged negligence towards solving the problems of his constituency.

Gul announced this on Saturday during a meeting with elders, social activists and traders of the district at Karak Town Hall. The meeting was held to solve the persistent issue of low gas pressure in Karak.

Elders criticised MNA Nasir Khan, saying he has not visited the constituency to address the people’s problems, nor has he raised his voice for Karak in the National Assembly since he was elected.

The elders also threatened to block the supply of oil and gas from Karak to the rest of the country, saying locals should be provided the utilities on priority basis.

“Oil and gas extracted from our area is being supplied all over the country, while our needs are being ignored,” claimed one of the elders.
