Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique on Friday met with Lahore Transport Company Chairman Khwaja Ahmed Hassaan to discuss a proposal metro train in the city.
The minister proposed a metro train from Shahdara to Raiwind in the first phase.
He said the project could start quickly. The LTC chairman urged the minister to finalise the plan and find investors to finance it. The operations staff was told to submit a feasibility report on the project in a week.
