New in town: Mengal takes charge as Faisalabad DCO

FAISALABAD: Noorul Ameen Mengal took charge as the Faisalabad district coordination officer here on Thursday. Shortly after taking charge, he called on Divisional Commissioner Sardar Akram Javed and Regional Police Officer Haider Ashraf to discuss major issues the district is facing.

The DCO later also held a meeting with city district government officers, where he discussed his priorities. He also stressed the need for continuing efforts to eliminate dengue mosquito in the current season. He directed the officers concerned to finalise Muharram security plan and inform him with the arrangements. The DCO later also took a round of the city.
