Farewell visit: Swedish envoy meets Mamnoon

Mamnoon Hussain says that Pakistan attaches great importance to its close and friendly relations with Sweden.

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its close and friendly relations with Sweden. The President was talking to Ambassador of Sweden in Pakistan‚ Lars Hjalmar Wide‚ who paid a farewell call on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Wednesday. Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan wishes to further expand its ties and build a broad-based‚ substantive and long-term relationship with Sweden. The President appreciated his diplomatic services in bringing Pakistan and Sweden further closer during his tenure as Ambassador. He wished the outgoing ambassador good luck in his future life and assignments. Lars Hjalmar Wide thanked the President for the support that was extended by the government during his tenure as ambassador.
