HYDERABAD: More than five dozen civil society activists from Karachi, Hyderabad and other districts gathered at an event in Pangrio, where it was decided to build a memorial for Bheel. “We want to make it clear to the extremists that they cannot foment disharmony among the residents of Sindh,” declared Justice retd Salahuddin Mirza.

PPP’s senator Karim Khwaja announced a sum of Rs1 million for the construction of the memorial. He assured that the people who desecrated the body will be severely punished in addition to being ostracised from the society.
