Preparedness: Naval chief visits UAV setup
The naval chief also witnessed the flying activities of the indigenously built UAV named Uqab.
KARACHI:
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Asif Sandila accompanied by Commander Pakistan Fleet and Commander Coast today visited the Pakistan Navy’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) setup at HQ 1st Pak Marine Battalion in Sajawal creek area during operational visit to field units. A Pakistan Navy press release issued on Friday said that during the visit, Admiral Sandila was briefed about the operational employment and material preparedness of PN Fleet’s UAV Squadron deployed in the creek area. The naval chief also witnessed the flying activities of the indigenously built UAV named Uqab. Earlier, Admiral Sandila visited PN Dockyard to monitor the progress of Pakistan Navy Ships and Submarine under planned maintenance.
