LAHORE:

A judge sought comments from the Samanabad SHO on Friday in a petition seeking the registration of a case against the petitioner’s son for allegedly deceiving him into transferring away his property.

Petitioner Shakoor said his son, Imran, had brought him some documents claiming that he wanted to send him to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. He said he signed several papers and gave his thumb impression, thinking they were needed for an Umrah visa. One of Imran’s friends later told him that he had used his signatures to transfer his 10-marla house to himself. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register a case against his son for cheating him and his other children out of the property.
