Impeding police work: 20 arrested from various areas
Islamabad Police arrested them for resisting anti-encroachment efforts of the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP).
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad Police arrested 20 people from two locations in the federal capital on Thursday for resisting anti-encroachment efforts of the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP). ITP cops were trying to remove encroachments from Sector I-11 and the service road near Khanna Pul to ensure the “smooth flow of traffic” when they faced resistance from locals, according to the police. Officials of the Sabzi Mandi and Shahzad Town Police Stations took action and nabbed 20 suspects for interfering in policing.
