Forex: Currency reserves rise to $9.23 billion

Reserves held by the SBP increased to $4.086 billion from $4.075 billion a week earlier

KARACHI: Foreign exchange reserves increased to $9.230 billion as of October 14, compared to $9.207 billion in the previous week, according to a statement of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday. Reserves held by the SBP increased to $4.086 billion from $4.075 billion a week earlier, while those held by commercial banks increased to $5.144 billion as compared to $5.131 billion a week earlier.
