Education outreach: ‘PEF partner schools achieving better standards’

PEF has taken many steps to improve the quality of education of small schools, says PEF chairman Raja Anwar.

 “Education standards at small private schools has improved through the work of the Punjab Education Foundation,” PEF chairman Raja Anwar said on Sunday.


He was addressing the ground-breaking ceremony of the Khwaja Fareed English Model School, a PEF partner in Basti Mastaan Shah, Rahim Yar Khan.

Anwar said the PEF model was an economical, transparent and result-oriented method of achieving better education standards.

“The PEF has taken many steps to improve the quality of education of small schools,” he said.

He said the PEF had worked with small schools in south Punjab to improve the quality of education in underprivileged localities.

“We have launched a teachers’ training campaign for partner schools. These will continue throughout the year,” he said. He said the PEF had arranged 1,100 training programmes for teachers, vice-principals and principals every year.
