A Pakistani military official said a civilian was killed and two others were injured "due to unprovoked firing of heavy weapons including mortars by Indian Border Security Forces" near Sialkot in Punjab.
On Thursday, Pakistan accused India of killing a paramilitary soldier in "unprovoked firing" across the border in the same region.
The incident comes just weeks after the prime ministers of the two countries pledged to restore calm along the Line of Control (LoC), the heavily militarised de facto border in Kashmir, at a meeting in New York.
A deadly flare-up along the LoC in January stalled peace talks that had only just resumed following a three-year hiatus sparked by the 2008 attacks in Mumbai, which killed 166 people.
Fresh violence erupted on the LoC after five Indian soldiers were killed in a raid in August.
Delhi blamed that ambush on the Pakistan army, but Islamabad denied the claims and has repeatedly called for restraint and dialogue.

Indians have no disregard for the humanity of Pakistanis and Muslims. These haters have no decency. They are against everything Pakistan stands for. They have no issue in killing Kashmiris either, because they know Kashmiris are Pakistanis at heart.

You have been doing that for some time ! Where has that got you ? No Where ! Face the reality, that this is not going to change, and sooner that Pakistan learns that its flawed policies of past two decades, namely, training and sheltering non state actors and various other cockroaches has not really paid any dividends, nor likely too ! But I do suggest that your Army really needs to start dealing with those "assets" in NW, as they really are no one's assets, but more likely to be your worse enemies in very near future for the State itself, unless they are eradicated, as they really do have ambitions on taking over the State !

Those who say 99.9 percent of Pakistanis are converted from Hindus are blatantly lying. As pakistani look very different from indians and their physical stature is also very different from indians. Having travelled both countries extensively I can see a stark difference between the two nations.

NS asked MMS whether he wanted peace or war. It seems our spineless PM has refused to take the path of peace probably owing to elections next year and that pro pakistan / pro peace position will not go down well with Indian voters. Come to think of it, MMS had so many opportunities to negotiate settlement of siachin and kashmir but he has always relented. Peace is a loser unfortunately

What are the Civilians doing at LOC ? Why has Pak Army not stopped them from the area ? This is just another charade to keep the LOC in news and limelight ! Why has all the activities increased since the arrival of new admin in Islamabad ? Pak Army is too busy, doing what it does best ! But they really should consider dealing with their own internal security issues, try dealing with NW first, as you may not even have a nation left in its present form in near future, if this area is not dealt with, as they will spread and be at the doorsteps of Islamabad too !
Why Pakistani every-time want to highlight that they are "Nuclear". I failed to understand the logic behind this. Sometimes I feel that nuclear means r u isolated ?? This is rouge mindset or you have complex mindset that you are not able to match neighbors on any front so reminding others that you are having nuclear bomb. Here in India, nobody cares whether we have nuclear bomb or not. Remember economy is most important.
