A lady police constable was suspended here on Monday after she was found inebriated in a hotel room with some men late Sunday night.
Her friends had fled the scene when the hotel was raided by Mandi Bahauddin police.
A case has been registered against her on charges of drinking and obscenity.
Shortly after she was arrested, District Police Officer Ameer Taimoor Khan was told that there had been rumours that she was a man and had disguised herself as a woman when a job of a woman constable was advertised.
The DPO had then ordered an inquiry into the claims and appointed DSP (Headquarters) Chaudhry Ilamuddin Gujjar as the chief investigation officer. He had ordered him to get a medical examination of the constable. The DSP had taken the lady constable to Civil Hospital, where she was declared a woman.

ET get our facts straight!Its a man found assaulting a woman in a hotel.He has allegedly exposed many other girls.A TV show has exposed everything and even now Punjab Polices hasn't taken any desirable action against him.
