Banni: Alleged husband-killer arrested

One of the accomplices has also been arrested.

RAWALPINDI: The Banni police on Saturday arrested a woman wanted for the murder of her husband along with one of the accomplices. According to the police, Saima was allegedly involved in the murder of her husband, Sajid, who was an internationally connected bookie. During the investigation of the murder that took place on March 20, the police concluded that it was Saima who had, with the help of two men, allegedly killed the bookie. One of the accomplices has also been arrested while Interpol has been asked for assistance in arresting the second suspect who fled to Dubai.
