The Bay View College will host an inter-school Model United Nations, BAYMUN 2013, from October 18 to October 20 at its Clifton branch.
Around 200 students from all over the city are expected to participate as delegates representing the assigned country in the United Nations committees - the UN Security Council, International Atomic Energy Agency, Disarmament and International Security Committee, Special Political and Decolonisation Committee, Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Affairs Committee. Through this event, students will learn about the working of UN committees and regional and global issues of various countries. The event is being organised by the students working in Bay View's UN Secretariat. On Saturday, an orientation session was held to introduce the committee chairs to the participants.
