Baloch FC registered their second win in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL), overcoming Afghan FC 2-1 at the KPT Stadium yesterday.


Baloch FC conceded a goal when Afghan FC’s Abdul Samad scored in the 16th minute of the match. However, the Noushki-based club bounced back with late goals from Fazal Muhammad in the 75th minute and Shahbaz Khan in the 82nd minute. With the win, Baloch FC climbed three places in the standings and now occupy 10th position with seven points after playing six matches.

Meanwhile, Afghan FC slumped to 13th place with six points after six matches. They have managed to win only one match in the season so far.

KESC lead the standings with 18 points with Wapda occupying the second spot; both teams remained undefeated in the first leg. This was the last match in the first leg of the tournament. PPFL will resume after Eidul Azha from October 21 in Karachi.
