DI KHAN:

A sixth-grade student allegedly kidnapped by his own father and his two accomplices was recovered by the police at Darazinda check post on Saturday, said police official Shaukat Baloch.

Muhammad Dawood, who studies at Superior Science Public School and lives with his mother, was allegedly abducted by his father Salauddin and his accomplices from Professor Colony in the city.

Baloch said Salauddin and two other men, Khalid Khan and Bismillah Khan, came to the school in the afternoon in a white car and whisked away Dawood from the building’s main gate. He added the boy was forced into the car at gunpoint and the school’s watchman was also thrashed when he put up resistance.

Later, police arrested the three accused men from Darazinda check post and also seized weapons from their possession, informed Baloch.

Salauddin’s father-in-law Ghulam Silani filed an FIR at Gomal police station, accusing Salauddin, Khalid and Bismillah of kidnapping his grandson. Silani said Salauddin developed differences with his wife, after which she left him and came to live with her father. As a result, Dawood also started living with his mother and grandfather.
