Accusations of murder: Married woman burnt to death

ABBOTTABAD: A woman was killed after suffering severe burn injuries in Langra village near Abbottabad, police sources informed on Friday. Eighteen-year-old Zeba Bibi was married to Waqas since eight months. According to Zeba’s in-laws, Zeba was preparing food on Thursday evening, when her dupatta caught fire. Soon the flames engulfed her whole body. She was rushed to Ayub Medical Complex where she succumbed to her injuries. Doctors say over 70% of her body was burnt. Parents of the deceased, however, suspect Zeba was murdered and demanded an inquiry into the incident. Police has filed a case.
