Busted: Three suspected drug dealers nabbed

Team of ANF busted two gangs of drug dealers and recovered 14 kg of opium and 14kg of hashish from their possession.

A team of the anti-narcotics force (ANF) on Friday busted two gangs of drug dealers and recovered 14 kg of opium and 14kg of hashish from their possession.


An ANF squad intercepted a car (LHG 9445) in Pindi Bhattian and seized 6kg hashish and 2.4 kg opium which were hidden in secret cavities of the car.


The team also took the car driver, Noor Muhammad, into custody. Meanwhile, another ANF party intercepted a car (IDK 7633) and recovered 12kg of opium and 8.4 kg of hashish.


The police also took Ghulam Murtaza and Saddam into custody. Different cases have been registered against the suspects under anti-narcotics laws and further investigation is underway.
