Muslim FC beat debutants PACA 1-0

Team replaces Army on third spot in PPFL.

KARACHI: Muslim FC continued their winning streak in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they defeated debutants Pak-Afghan Clearing (Paca) FC by a solitary goal in Karachi yesterday. 

Both teams played a goalless first half before 40-year-old Hikmatullah of Muslim FC scored the winner in the 64th minute of the match. With the win, Muslim FC replaced Army at third place in the league, earning 13 points after playing six matches. Meanwhile, Paca remain on 10th position with six points after six matches, making this their fourth loss.

In today’s lone fixture, Afghan FC will play against Baloch FC at the KPT Stadium. This will be the last match for the first leg of the season. The league will recommence after the Eidul Azha break from October 22 in Karachi.
