Muslim FC break duck in PPFL

Team records first win in league with 3-0 thrashing of Baloch FC.

KARACHI: Muslim FC registered their first win in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) as they thrashed Baloch FC 3-0 in Karachi yesterday.

Muslim FC, who finished third last season, had a bad start this year - drawing one and losing one game in the league so far. However, they bounced back to record their first win in the competition in style.

Striker Zabihullah scored the opening goal in the 15th minute of the match as Muslim FC led 1-0 at the interval.

Hayatullah doubled the lead in the 60th minute while Asmatullah sealed victory in the second minute of injury time in the second-half.

With the win, Muslim FC have four points in the league while Baloch FC stayed at the bottom of the table with only one point after three matches. They have drawn one and lost one match in the league so far.
