Unrelenting: 29 more cases of dengue virus

A total of 29 patients, including seven women, have been shifted to the ICU.

SWAT: As many as 29 new cases of dengue were reported at the Saidu Teaching Hospital (STH) on Wednesday, said the hospital’s spokesperson, Dr Wasil Khan. He said 230 dengue patients, including 162 males and 68 females are already under treatment in the wards. A total of 29 patients, including seven women, have been shifted to the ICU. No death by dengue has been reported from STH during the past seven days, he added.
