The released suspects were Abdul Qaddus, Zafar Iqbal, two guards from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Mughalpura's trash collector Imran Shaheed.
Two police constables identified as Abid and Zahid are still in custody and are undergoing investigation.
Geo-fencing showed that they were in Mughalpura on the day of the rape and witnesses placed them in the vicinity of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as well.
On September 13, a 5-year-old girl was found outside a Lahore hospital at around 8:00 pm, a day after she went missing from a low-income neighbourhood in the city. Doctors had said that she was raped several times.
The 5-year-old girl’s condition is satisfactory now and she will be kept in the hospital due to security issues.

@Jibran: Lie detector test is only as good as the person administering the test. If the person administering the lie detector test is not skilled and qualified, the test is useless. The person administering the test should ask the proper questions and in the proper tone, proper manner etc., etc., to get dependable results.

Now this is a sick joke with the victim and the judicial system. Lie detector is not admissible anywhere in the world, but the high-tech, good-governance Punjab government chooses it to release alleged rapists. Who gave orders to use the lie detector, did it come directly from the law minister, or the chief minister, or the crown prince?
@Fahad. Thanks for pointing that out. There appears to be many ignorant fools mentioning 4 witnesses. 4 witnesses are required to proof adultery, making it very hard to accuse someone of committing adultery.
Why no DNA test was done? Why do we need to listen anyone when there are proven techniques to identify someone involve in a crime?

Our judicial system is geared to letting the guilty go free...........when justice is not served does it make sense to keep the system in place ?
@Salman, the CCI doesnt said that DNA test cannot be used. They said that DNA tests cannot prove that whether or not it was a rape. And they said that it can be used as an evidence by the court.
Well, in the absence of 4 witnesses, there is only so much that could be done. Why waste time on Lie-detectors? They could just ask them to take a oath against the holybook.
Lie Detectors are NOT considered primary evidence rather SUPPORTING evidence. WTH. They can deny DNA but lie detectors are ok! stupidity
So a lie detector is acceptable but DNA evidence isn't?
Polygraph tests are not enough to provide any sort of legal proof in western democracies. Only in Pakistan do we arrest people without any proof.
So we don't want to use DNA in rape cases but will accept lie detectors. What is wrong with this country???
