KARACHI: The two suspects in N kidnap and murder case admitted their crime on Monday, Express News reported.
Bilal and his wife Reema said that they killed N because her parents did not pay the ransom that they had asked for.
They also stated that they took her to Karachi Sea View and suffocated her to death.
The court has sent them on judicial remand till October 9.
Two other suspects are still at large and the court has ordered the police to arrest them immediately.
Background
The body of a 13-year-old girl was found near Beach View Club on Sea View on September 26.
The girl’s body was transferred to Jinnah hospital.
The medico-legal officer said that the victim was raped and then murdered, adding that they are not sure if more than one person had raped her. The officer also stated that there were bruises all over the girl’s body.
She was kidnapped on September 24 from Azizabad, Karachi and her body was dumped on the beach. Her parents reported her kidnapping to the police the same day and an FIR was registered.
Her parents had also received threats on the phone from the murderers.
She was the only daughter of her parents and was a student of grade four. She was wearing her school uniform when her body was found.
Based on initial investigation, a woman wearing a niqab kidnapped the girl from outside her school after claiming that she was one of the girl’s neighbours.

After hearing cases like these, I am bound to believe that the beheadings Saudi Government do is indeed justified.
I think Police should get this lady's statement thoroughly till her statement gets swollen.
But wait! Maybe the family will forgive them based on our Islamic judicial system.
After reading the headline, I was not expecting one of the suspects to a women. Alas! I guess nothing should be surprising in this society anymore.
Despicable. Of course the law should take its course. To all those calling for beheadings and public hangings, our society is already terribly brutalized. Lets put our faith in the mundane but consistent and strict application of law.
