Criminals abroad: 42 suspects arrested with help from Interpol

The DPO also said that deserving policemen would be sent to Norway, London, Greece and Dubai for training.

GUJRAT: “As many as 42 suspects have been arrested on murder and kidnapping charges from Norway, London, Greece and Dubai with the help from Interpol in the last three months,” DPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said on Thursday. He said 124 criminals had already been issued red-warrants.

The DPO was speaking to a delegation of police officials from Norway at his office. Rizvi said several teams had been constituted for the arrest of these criminals abroad. He said he was hopeful that all criminals would be arrested from these countries and jailed in Gujrat. The DPO also said that deserving policemen would be sent to Norway, London, Greece and Dubai for training.
