Earlier in September, a girl was raped and found outside the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore.
Doctors said the child was raped several times and after receiving emergency care was transferred to the intensive care unit of nearby Services hospital.
The rape survivor underwent a surgery, while two more operations are scheduled for the coming weeks, according to her doctor.
As per details gathered from the hospital, she is responsive but is not speaking.
A few minutes of the closed-circuit video released to the media showed two men, separately and at different times, carrying the child outside the hospital. The police concluded that the man in the video who had first dropped off the child outside the Medical Superintendent’s office as the main accused.
Earlier, the police had identified a man named Shehzad Kabaariya as the main suspect. They had detained more than 70 people, most of whom were allowed to leave after initial interrogation.

If rapes have increased due to western evil, shouldn't earth quakes occour in the west, Aam Pakistani ji? Are you saying there was no rape in this part of the world till western evil visited us? What exactly is western evil and when did it start influencing our otherwise innocent pious minds - a decade ago? A century ago? A millenium ago?
People like you make it very difficult to have any hope for this benighted nation - we are indeed our worst enemies.
These incidents have been happening in Pakistan since long. Its just now that the media has started reporting them.

The culprits of rapes of children must be prosecuted without mercy. It is a horrific crime that has absolutely no justification. It is time our police force be trained to treat such crimes with quick investigations/arrests rather than what one reads in the papers - often not registering FIRs as the rapists are well established people in society. That the girl in Lahore was raped in a hospital, as yet no one has been apprehended is shameful. That CCTV recordings disappeared from the hospital obviously show it was an inside job. Have employees of the hospital who were on duty at the time been interrogated? The poor child must feel threatened being in a hospital environment. Shame....
After that rape incident of 5yr old girl in Lahore earlier this month, almost everyday we are hearing of a new rape offensive, its getting extremely frustrating and disappointing.
We so-called Muslims of this country are worse than the Western World who have picked so many of our Islamic traits and applied in their society and proving to be better citizens and on the other hand we are turning out to be totally opposite, getting influenced by the Western "evil" traits and proud to be calling ourselves 'civilized'. Instead we are turning out to be animals!
Law and Order is at its lowest peak and is doing nothing to apprehend these inhuman perpetrators. There is no justice in this country. and these immoral acts are pointing towards that Judgement Day is coming and it will be upon us soon. Until 10 years ago, there were not many shockwaves of Earthquakes as such and since 5-6 years, we get to feel/ hear and witness frequent tremors, is this not a sign enough among many other signs that we should start acting as proper human beings and Muslims above all.
