Declaring himself to be in complete rhythm for all three formats. Farhat said, "I've been training hard since the last couple of weeks."
The batsman had previously been included in the team for the Test series against Zimbabwe. But he withdrew from the tour citing his wife's illness.
However, Farhat said that he is now available for the forthcoming series including two Tests, five ODIs and a few Twenty20 matches which are to be played from October 14.
“I am coming to the National Cricket Academy regularly and my fitness is good. I will try to perform at my best if given the assignment," he said.
Asserting that he will be ready to perform at any format if selected, the batsman said, "the last series against South Africa was good for me and I'm confident of performing well against them."
Commenting on the series, Farhat said that conditions in the UAE will suit Pakistan.
“We will have an edge over South Africa. Pakistan has quality spin attack while our fast bowling is also good. I am hoping for good results by looking at the way the players are training,” the cricketer said.
