Following the Nadra report revealing massive rigging in NA-258 Malir, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has demanded re-polls in the entire constituency. PML-N’s Abdul Hakeem Baloch was elected from the Karachi constituency in the May 11 elections. Addressing a press conference, PPP Karachi president Abdul Qadir Patel said that the mandate of his party had been stolen in the elections. He was accompanied by the PPP candidate who lost the NA-258 seat to the PML-N man. “Some elements had hatched a conspiracy against the PPP to defeat its candidates in Karachi,” he said.
