Crackdown Continues: Policemen held for robberies
Three men - Tariq, Bilal and Qaim Ali Shah - were trying to kidnap an official of National Bank, Muhammad Rafiq.

Three policemen were arrested by Aziz Bhatti police on Saturday after several residents complained they were robbing people. ASI Nazeer Ahmed, head constable Enayatullah and police constable Abdul Ghani used to loot people at night by intercepting their vehicles on Rashid Minhas Road, Karsaz Road and Sharae Faisal, said DSP Nasir Lodhi. Three suspects were also arrested after an exchange of fire in a bid to foil a kidnapping on Saturday. Three men - Tariq, Bilal and Qaim Ali Shah - were trying to kidnap an official of National Bank, Muhammad Rafiq. When the police stopped the car for checking, the suspects opened fire but they were arrested later. Meanwhile, Special Investigation Unit claims to have arrested eight suspects, including a woman, allegedly involved in extortion and arms smuggling from Pak Colony and Aram Bagh.
