A four-year-old schoolboy was allegedly gang-raped by a school principal and his accomplices in Faisalabad on Wednesday.
Angry relatives of the boy staged a demonstration against the school administration and demanded the public hanging of the principal and others involved, besides closing down the school.
The protesters also burnt tyres and blocked the main Narwala Road, suspending traffic. The father of the four-year-old victim told the media that his son, M*, was a kindergarten student at the Dar-e-Arqam School where he was subjected to gang rape by the school principal, the watchman and two others.
“My son was subjected to sexual and physical abuse. He was seriously injured. They left him there, lying unconscious, in the school building after the assault.”
Investigation Officer Sub-Inspector Arif said during the initial investigation, the victim said he was sexually abused by the four accused. “The school principal and watchman were arrested, while a team has been constituted to arrest the remaining men,” he added.
SHO Gulberg Qaisar Younus said that a case under Sections 376 (punishment of rape) and 377 (unnatural offences) of the Pakistan Penal Code has been lodged. Further action will be taken once the medical examination report is in, he added.
Another 4-year-old raped
Another boy was raped in Sadiqabad, Bahawalpur, on Wednesday. According to the police, the four-year-old victim, A*, was playing on the street when the accused picked him up and sexually abused him.
The police registered a case against the accused after getting the medical report, which proved that the boy was subjected to rape.
However, the boy’s father alleged that the investigation officer was forcing him to drop the case and pardon the accused. ASP Sadiqabad Zeshan Shafiq told The Express Tribune that the accused was on pre-arrest bail and denied that any deals were made with him. He assured that he will look into the case himself.
Girl gang-raped in Faisalabad
Four men sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl for two consecutive days. On the complaint of the mother’s victim, the Mureedwala police have registered a case against the accused. However, none of them has been arrested so far.
The mother told the police that on September 16 when the teenage victim went out to fetch water from a nearby tube well, two men from the same village abducted her daughter. “My daughter told me that the four accused raped her for 48 hours, after which they left her unconscious on the street.”
She said that the accused men were from an influential family they had threatened to kill her if they complained to the police.
SHO Rana Muhammad Akram said that a case had been registered against the accused men.
Scores of villagers held a protest against the incident and demanded the immediate arrest of the accused.

@Samir khan kakar: YOU CAN CUT MY HEAD OFF before I submit to your devil god!
@Water Bottle: India is still the rape capital of the world.
@sabi: I am constantly hearing DNA evidence is not allowed in Pakistani courts. At the same time, so called muslims don't believe in it, they want the 4 gawahs. Such a shame!!!
One word. Barbaric. It does not matter where it happen. It is sheer non-sense for Indian friends to take pleasure out of this barbaric act of devil. Please be civil when it come to child or women.
Rape justice in holy Saudi Arabia...........
A young Saudi girl who was being molested by her father. She went to the courts to file a complaint. The law enforcers did not believe her and told her, her father needed to come in to file the complaint...... The next story tells of a nineteen year-old woman who met a man not related to her in a car. They were both kidnapped by a gang and she was then gang-raped fourteen times. Seven men of the gang were convicted and were sentenced to prison ranging from one to five years. .....The woman was also convicted to six months of prison as well as ninety lashes for being associating with a male who was not related to her in public.
http://womanstats.wordpress.com/2013/01/16/the-high-rape-scale-in-saudi-arabia/
Ninety percent of women in all Muslim countries suffer rape by close relatives or rich and powerful but never come to report because of honour and inconsistent judiciary apart from blood money/rape money or so which shame them more than the rape.
@Samir khan kakar: so you want things like these to happen in Pakistan as well? http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2013/02/201323223618362435.html
@Syeda: these things have always happened in PK for a very long time. Now the media is bringing it into spotlight (Thankfully!) and the victims are also finally speaking up. Previously a lot of them would stay quiet out of shame.
@Samir khan kakar: To all the liberals out there: Do such things happen in Saudi Arabia where there is shariah or Islamic law?
worse, the victim will be blamed and punished.
Please wait for the medical report and then the accused should be taken to the task, I must say that it is the laws and the courts which are to be blamed for this kind of rampant sick behavior by these animals. The other day a rapist was given 10 years incarceration in Karachi, it should have been at least 40-50 years in jail with out any parole. The problem is that people with money can get away with murders and that is why some of these heinous crimes are taking place because they know they could get away with it by invoking the Qisas law, some how the whole society is getting sick in Pakistan and let these crimes happen.
@Samir khan kakar: To all the liberals out there: Do such things happen in Saudi Arabia where there is shariah or Islamic law?
According to Pakistani Islamic scholars DNA can't be used as an evidence in a rape case unless 4 pious Muslim men witnesses who actually saw the act of penetration testify. Pakistanis also follow TRUE Islam.
Come on Pakistanis, Protest, Take to the streets. Silence is equal to approval. This cant be happening, the very fabric of your society is at risk here.
@Samir khan kakar: "To all the liberals out there: Do such things happen in Saudi Arabia where there is shariah or Islamic law? Even if they do, then they are a at a minor scale and the culprits rarely escape punishment"
Rapes happen in Saudi Arabia too. I read a news about a teacher who raped 19 of his girl students. He was able to rape 19 because 18 of the girls he raped never complained. Rapist has 4 wives and a few kids of his own.
It is nice that media has started reporting Child rapes in Pakistan.
@Samir khan kakar:
FYI,such cases do happen and whats worse the rapist can easily get away after paying blood money to the family....
Just because a crime isnt reported, doesnt mean it didnt happen

@Samir khan kakar:
RAPE
We listen of rape in liberal society because the act oàf rape exists. The rape is a "sexual act without the consent of one of the partner. In this partnership (married husband and wife). In Islam (Arab culture) husband has every right to lay his wife even if she refuses.
Islam only condemns the Aduletry which is of two kinds and none includs the act of rape as we define in a free and liberal society.
In Islam and in Arab society there is no equivalent word for "RAPE".
It is why in Saudi Arabia and in other rich Arab contries you do not hear of Rape.
BDW:- Many South Indian Maids have been raped by your Arab friends.
Look like even males are not safe in Pakistan.
@Water Bottle: Yeah, lot of people came from India in beginning and now we have Indian tv and cinema in Pakistan as well.
@Samir khan kakar: saudis only apply the strict laws to poor workers from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia etc. They are the most corrupt regime in the world.
@Samir khan kakar: Do you think there is 'shariah' in Saudi Arabia? Their form of government is not Islamic.
@Syeda: It has nothing to do with Islam or religion. These criminals go without being punished. Rule of law does not exit, justice should be done and criminals should be punished. Police should be depoliticized and justice system needs overhaul. No need to bring Islam here.
There is difference between rape being committed and rape being reported. In Saudi rapes are not often reported. If they were reported the royal megalomaniacs will be the biggest culprits.Thousands of young girls from Pakistan and Other third world countries are transported to Saudi to satisfy their insatiable lust. Rape can not be eliminated unless or until their is equal distribution of power.
@Samir khan kakar: It's not about Islamic or Un-Islamic law and it is not about being liberal or conservative. It's more about rule of law, where powerful people escape and victims don't get justice. it's the justice system, class system and politics of power. The criminals should be punished and justice should be seen to be done. This is the only way these crimes can be stopped. Why everything has to be judged by a religious angle. In most of the European countries, these crimes are limited (generally, there is lower crime rate) but it the reason is rule of law and proper justice system, nothing else.
Dead penalty only
Such incidents shall never stop till culprits are executed in public.
Why sex related crimes are rampant in Punjab?!! Do the people there need psychotherapy?!!
"School principal and his accomplices" should be hanged.
irate?! I'd say they'd be a little more that irate!
Within last 2-3 months several such rape cases came to light. It clearly shows that police n courts both should share the responsibility. Police either being the party in or with or afraid of culprits. And courts where quick justice is still a dream land. All criminal caught in such crimes need only days trial n convection. Whereas, force itself should look itself in mirror and choose it own punishments.
@Fake Water Bottle.
I don't think you have looked up the phrase 'moral high ground' in a dictionary even once.
I never said, we are better. I never said Indians are better.
I only said 'Pakistan is as bad as India'.
I'm the biggest critic of India over here. I would never ignore our own problems.
@Samir khan kakar: Islamic law or not, rape is a global problem and implementing Sharia law has nothing to with countering it. How do you know there are no rape cases in Saudia? Under reporting is an issue in Pakistan as well as most countries with similarly weak law enforcement systems. Why do you think the investigation officer of the case in Sadiqabad was forcing the 4 year old victim's father to pardon the accused? Where do you think that concept of 'pardoning' comes from? From Sharia Law. I suggest you study more about Sharia law, secular legal systems, read more on how rape culture is dealt with in secular states and Islamic states and then make such statements. And to the rest of the 17 people who recommended this guy's comment - Bravo.
We are returning to the time of jahaliyat. very sad news day by day. May Allah protect Muslim Ummah and our families from such Harassment.
@Watter Bottle
So your interest in this news is only to the extent of the degree of moral high ground you hope to achieve over your neighbors. Congratulations you must feel very good about yourself.
What laws are being enacted by the elected reps. Truly horrifying indeed.
@Samir khan kakar: Man, you made me laugh, your Sharia law gives more rights to the rapist than the person who's been raped. Apart from the mental trauma suffered by the person after the rape they'd rather not get whipped or lashed in the street because she couldn't find 3 witnesses for her rape. If you're dumb enough to praise that, friend, then you need to re think about the stuff you think is right or wrong.
Psychopaths exist everywhere, to say rape doesn't happen one place and happens someplace else is your brain simply trying to make true, what you want to be true, rather than look at the facts and figures.
A country which doesn't allow female drivers, you're going to argue that that backwards if a country sees men and women as equals? Especially in cases where rape is treated as adultery? I don't know who's worse, a person raping another person, or someone who defends that for rape, a shariah court is good.
I'm on my phone, but if you want references and sources, I'll more than gladly send them your way, because to you everything may be wrong but you including me, but the best thing about facts is that they're true, whether you want to believe in them or turn a blind eye to them.
sorry for any grammatical mistakes this was typed on a phone
No electricity, no gas, no education, no law and order, no youtube and no excess to porn sites. What else can you expect.
@Syeda:
"OMG ! what is going on in ISLAMIC country. Are we become animals now? really really sad and disgusting. May ALLAH protect us all.Ameen"
Why shock?
It's nothing new.
It's not one off incidence.
Such things happen in Pakistan more frequently than speculate them to happen. Far more frequently than what is reported and infinitely more frequently than people imagine them to happen.
Just a couple of years ago, ET published a blog from an anonymous writer, who expressed his own sexual harassment by the teacher at a Madressah.
If it happens at Mosques and Madressahs, why not at regular schools?
@Lahoran There are things we will never understand...
These are just reported cases .There are hundreds of cases which goes unreported every month .. U can think about horrible future life of subject boy ,he has to listen to boys/relatives always taunting him regarding sexually abused .Govt. should provide facility for rehabilitation for these young children which are sexually abused .There are few NGO's which are doing this work but reaching them is difficult and if anyone reached then they focus on making TV stories rather than working on psychology of subject .
this is what happens when all the school principals and employees have been hired simply for the cause of helping rig elections
@Samir khan kakar: There was a recent case in Saudi Arabia where the woman rape victim was sentenced to lashes. Some idea of justice it is. Almost no one reports rape in the Kingdom, but that does not mean that rapes do not take place there, just that the shame culture is much stronger and police often blame the victim, which makes people hesitant to report rapes.
All of this (gang-) raping and child abuse is reflective of deep-running sick mentality and horrible attitudes in our society. There is immense dirt filled in minds of frustrated evil-doers. We need to have healthy platforms to positively channelize energies of young people. Else, these energies will keep piling up in negative ways and occassionally burst out in such ghastly acts!
these recent incidents are just awful!... Mr Shebaz, kindly concentrate on Punjab law & order! He is holding one official & one unofficial post, the latter being a federal minister who is at every federal meeting or on tours to other countries! PMLN sort out your Governance ASAP!
What on earth is going on ... speechless!
1000 lashes in public then beheading
What's wrong Pakistan? Taking over India slowly??
What is wrong with these people? The criminals should be sentenced to mandatory solitary confinement and later executed.
Are we going through a RAPE season? Sorry I m not being offencive to anyone, but Pls don't trust Pakistani Media; now they will name a slap as a gang rape.. God bless theses children!
it seems after lahore case due to massive media coverage on child sex abuse, now some fake cases must also be surfacing.
OMG ! what is going on in ISLAMIC country. Are we become animals now? really really sad and disgusting. May ALLAH protect us all.Ameen
So Blame America Again ... In future we will be at top on average rape cases per day ...
Horrible and an eye opener. Dar-e-Arqam is a School chain being run by Jamaat-e-Islami what else you can expect from them? First it was Madrassah students victim of such assaults now these modern madrassahs doing the same. Jamaat-e-Islami and its affiliates need same treatment is done by Bangladesh.
This is horrendous beyond what words can express. The principal and watchman were supposed to protect the child, not assault him in this manner.
what is "mother's victim"??
To all the liberals out there: Do such things happen in Saudi Arabia where there is shariah or Islamic law? Even if they do, then they are a at a minor scale and the culprits rarely escape punishment. It is time we implemented Islamic where the offense of committing unnatural act is death.
