RAWALPINDI:

The Muree police in a joint action with intelligence agencies rounded up 14 most wanted target killers, all hailing from Karachi.

According to details, the target killers had all fled the metropolis following the Karachi operation. “They have come here along with their families and were involved in street crimes before they were caught,” a police official told The Express Tribune.

When contacted the Muree police confirmed that the 14 target killers have been arrested in raids on multiple guest houses and hotels. The criminals have been shifted to an undisclosed location by intelligence agencies.

The official said that a sharp increase in street crimes was witnessed during the past days which led to the arrests. Arrest of a tourist also worked as a tip-off. Officials confirmed that further raids are expected over the coming days in other districts.

Obviously Sindh Police needs to learn from the Punjab counterparts on how to stop street crimes.
