An inquiry committee will be formed to investigate these terrible crimes. It will comprise of not only the military but also civil armed forces and intelligence agencies' officers.
This committee is expected to register an FIR and present a particular case at the trial court within 30 days. If this is not possible then an interim report can be used otherwise. It will be up to the court to decide whether the interim report is sufficient enough to pursue the case.
If the case cannot be presented at the trial court for any reason then the high courts will be responsible to carry out the judgement.
Protective screens will be used at the courts during the trial. Furthermore, the trial can also take place via a video link.
Electronic and forensic evidence will also be accepted at the trial.

Your anti terrorism laws haven't seemed to work against terrorism - so what makes anyone think that putting additional crimes under this umbrella will have a meaningful impact.
Why the law makers have taken so much time to propose amendment in the anti-terrosim laws when so many people have been killed and injured?
Is there any valve of human beings in Pakistan or not, or it entirely depends on the lawmakers as and when they feel it convenient they propose amemdmend in the law.
Great. Two good news related to long-awaited legislative measures in a day. Seems like our lawmakers have started to move themselves a bit.
Ironically, all crimes are terrorism, except those perpetrated by the terrorists, who are officially now a major stakeholder in the government. PMLN lives up to its tradition of courting the fundamentalists.
Kill them before they lay more eggs.
yes come on need more laws for terrorism. at least something positive is happening
Why dont they add corruption to the Anti Terrorism act? After all, are not the corrupt responsible for most of the crimes committed?
Shoot to kill is the only sure for extortionists, killers and kidnappers and it should apply to all members of mafia from their patron paoliticians, police officers to the foot gangsters
A good step but it would be nicer to add the gang-rape as it creates terrorism too especially rape of young kids.
If implemented, this shall go a long way in curbing these crimes, which has created an environment, worse than the mess created by the militants.
