Family judges should be circumspect while adjudicating family-related cases because such disputes have far reaching consequences, not only for the estranged parties but also for the entire society. Supreme Court Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan expressed these views while addressing the certificate distribution ceremony for participants of a one-week training course on “Management of Family Cases” at the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) on Friday. Regarding the challenges being faced by female judges, he advised them to be patient while dealing with family disputes. “Be independent, impartial and impersonal in your professional life and never swim with the tide” he said.
