NBP hand KPT 4-1 thrashing in PPFL

Bankers run riot to register third consecutive win in league.

KARACHI: NBP thrashed KPT 4-1 to register their third consecutive win in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) at the KPT Stadium in Karachi yesterday.

NBP began the match with confidence and took an early lead in the third minute of the match with Javed Hamza’s goal. They doubled the score when Muhammad Asif scored in the 40th minute to lead 2-0 at the interval.

Adnan Nazar continued the momentum for NBP with the third goal in the 52nd minute while Farooq Shah sealed the victory in the 79th minute.

KPT, on the other hand, only managed to reply in the 87th minute. Mohammad scored the solitary goal for the hosts through a penalty kick.

With the win, NBP now lead the league with three wins and nine points, and have scored seven goals so far.

Meanwhile, KPT have played four matches and won only one, with a draw and two defeats to their name.
