28-year-old stunner Scarlett Johansson got everyone buzzing when she stepped onto the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival in a gorgeous black dress and a huge diamond ring on her finger.

People magazine reported that the actor was engaged to her journalist beau Romain Dauriac.

“I can confirm that Scarlett and Romain are engaged. They haven’t chosen a date for the wedding,” a rep for ScarJo said in a statement to JustJared.com.



According to USA Today, the two have been engaged for almost a month now — bravo to the couple for staying under the radar this long. Scarlett and Romain started dating in November 2012 right after her split with ex-boyfriend, Nate Taylor. This will be the actor’s second marriage, after getting a divorce from actor Ryan Reynolds in 2010. “She’s so happy she found love again. They are head over heels in love; she’s literally glowing right now. He’s perfect for her,” said a source, reported HollywoodLife.com.
