Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaaf (PTI) has rejected the results of the recount in this constituency yet again, despite the fact that Returning Officer, Javed Iqbal Warraich supervised the recount in the presence of the two candidates.
Ahmad secured 18,526 votes while PTI candidate Mehar Wajid Azeem came in second with 18,074 votes.
After a neck-and-neck contest in the August 22 by-elections, PML-N’s Ahmad was declared the winner with a close margin of 374 votes from the runners up, PTI’s Azeem.
Azeem challenged the result in the courts, alleging irregularities at some polling stations.
The Election Commission later ordered a recount on August 29.

why PTI does not accept defeat and gets down to work ? Recounts, dharnas are more important issues than the ones faced by common Pakistanis ? educated voters of PTI would start leaving it very soon, if PTI persists with this policy.
Without IK, Sharif brothers would treat the PK people as complete trash but his pressure has forced them onto a better road. If you believe me just look at their history.

For a sportsman, Khan sb has remarkably little in terms of sportsman spirit. This is now reflected in PTIs approach to problems and setbacks. Khan sb is basically a mediocre leader masquerading as a founding father.

This is how much of a bad luck IK is these days that whatever he touches turns into dust.
The glaring fact that the lead of PMLN candidate has further increased in recount is a testament that PMLN is the most popular political party of Pakistan and PTI is nothing more than a cry baby!! PTI's candidate must apologize the public for wasting precious time of the people/media and wasting taxpayer's money. The entire cost of recounting must be recovered from the losers.
No international team is coming to Pakistan , so let's play " rigging rigging " or shall I say " dhandli dhanli ".

@Mohtashim: Those votes are rejected, where a stamp overlaps more than one party sign. furthermore, some times, voters dont stamp the ballot paper at all. These votes are rejected, once both candidates agree that it is impossible to determine, in whose favour votes have been casted. So point to be be noted is that rejected votes are those votes, which are approved by both parties as rejected.
Now IK should apologise as he said before the recount.....
At first, it was PPP and PML-N who were corrupt. After May 11th, it was PML-N and ECP which were corrupt. Now, PML-N and the "Whole Nizam" is corrupt. The only saints left are PTI, JI, PPP and PML-Q who are all aligned together to contest the Punjab Local Body polls against PML-N and the "Whole Nizam." :D
It is good that PTI lost. Now its time to raise energy prices!!
@Hopeful: Well theoretically yes but only if those votes were cast for the PTI candidate for all we know it may be that all 452 votes were originally cast in favour of PML (N) or other candidates. It would have probably been good for the election to clarify this
On May 11, 2013 general election, Imran Khan was very much hopeful that PTI will sweep in all over Pakistan, but this did not happened and PML(N) won the general election.
It was a matter of over confidence, but the reality is far from imagination.

quite ironic - the difference of votes is 452 (18,526 vs 18,074) while the votes rejected were 452 as well. A strange coincidence but i am not alluding to anything, could be just a coincidence!!

I lived in PP-150 and I know ground realities. Bravo for PTI to give such a tough competition but It is almost impossible to beat PML-N in this area (NA-121, PP150), this area belongs to PML-N, so PTI should accept results and move on

I believe PTI lost this seat twice. The impact on the PTI's reputation is also double folded. As expected, they will and should continue their hue and cry, if they stop doing that than as an ordinary Pakistani I have misunderstood that.

I am very disappointed with the way IK has acted after the election. Where is the sportsmans spirit? He has also started lieing blatantly. After NA71 election he said how come 80% votes can be polled whereas only 45% were polled.

I am sure now PTI will demand re-election. They don't know how to accept defeat with honor yet. One can hope they will learn in the process.
Atleast 40 out of 147 polling stations PP150 don't have stamps and signatures of polling staff on ballot papers,is this a fair election?
This result was already known after the news that "Bags of ballet papers from 25 polling stations were missing and found 3 days later".
PTI should accept the defeat in PP-150 Lahore against PML-N. They had demanded vote recount and are proved to lost again. Hope that they will not protest now.
