KARACHI: A court in Karachi has reissued non-bailable warrants for the arrests of five accused believed to be involved in the Arshad Pappu murder case and ordered that they be arrested by September 12, Express News reported on Monday.

The accused include Uzair Baloch and Noor Muhammad alias Baba Ladla.

Earlier, the court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the accused and had expressed its dissatisfaction over delay in the arrest of the key offenders.

On August 15, nine offenders involved in the Arshad Pappu murder case were declared wanted by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC).

Earlier in July, Uzair Jan Baloch, Habib Jan Baloch, Baba Ladla and six others facing the murder trial of Arshad Pappu, his brother and a confidant were declared proclaimed offenders by the Anti-Terrorism Court.

The court had ordered the police to arrest them, but police failed to arrest them.

Alleged Lyari gangster Arshad Pappu, his brother, Yasir Arafat, and their confidant, Juma Shera, were killed on the night of March 16.
