Police Blamed: Armoured car crushes youth to death
Shikarpur police have registered a case against three of its officials on the alleged charges of crushing a man.

The Shikarpur police on Sunday have registered a case against three of its officials on the alleged charges of crushing a man under the armoured personnel carrier (APC) near Soan Wah situated in Garhi Yasin police limits, on Saturday evening. An armoured personnel carrier was speeding in the katcha area near Soan Wah, when young Waheed Ali Kakepoto was crushed under it as he was crossing the road. Following his death, hundreds of residents staged a demonstration outside the Garhi Yasin police station, demanding registration of cases against the relevant police officials. Garhi Yasin DSP Tariq Jalbani met the protesters and assured them of justice. The sit-in was later called off. The police have registered a case against three of its police officials including, SHO Aijaz Pathan, head constable Abdul Sattar Memon, and APC driver Abdul Rasheed Khoso. The police have yet to make arrests.
