Workers killings: ST leader secures govt’s support

A day after the police arrested dozens of suspects affiliated with various political parties in Karachi, the leaders of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) met the chief minister on Friday.


The delegation led by Shahid Ghouri and Bilal Saleem Qadri requested the chief minister to provide their leader with security given the serious threats to their lives. “Some leaders of our party are facing severe threat, so please arrest the assassins involved in the killing of our workers as a top priority.” Shah assured the delegation of the government’s support, while directing police officials to apprehend the suspects in the killings of PST workers.
