KARACHI:

The Supreme Court directed the Sindh police’s inspector general on Friday to recover and produce a missing accountant of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, Khalid Shamim.

Shamim has been linked to the high-profile murder case of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s leader Dr Imran Farooq in London in 2010. Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, who headed the five-member larger bench, passed this order on the petition filed by the missing man’s wife, Beena Khalid.
