Health sector jobs: CM approves ad hoc appointments

The recruitment of medical officers will be processed through the Punjab Public Service Commission.

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday relaxed a ban on recruitment of medical teachers and specialists on an ad hoc basis. The Health Department instructed the King Edward Medical University vice chancellor, principals of medical colleges, heads of specialist medical institutions and executive district officers (EDOs) to begin recruitment to vacant posts at their institutions on an ad hoc basis. The department asked for recommendations after completing formalities. The recruitment of medical officers will be processed through the Punjab Public Service Commission.
