A girl was shot dead by her father and brother after being declared kari on Sunday night. Hakeema Bibi, a resident of Mahwalwala near Rahim Yar Khan, had allegedly eloped last week.
However, their families decided that she would be returned to her father’s house. Haleema Bibi went back but was declared kari and shot dead by her father Malik Khan and brother Talib Hussain.
The men have gone in hiding. Police took the body to a hospital for post mortem examination and have registered a case.
