Appeal for peace: ‘Keep calm and carry on’

DCO Zahid has appealed to the media to help normalise the law and order situation in the district.

BHAKKAR: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Mumtaz Hussain Zahid has appealed to the media to help normalise the law and order situation in the district. Talking to newsmen, he urged people not to pay heed to rumours. Referring to a recent clash between two religious groups, he said the police and Rangers were patrolling the area and peace was being maintained. He said the administration was making efforts to normalise the situation so people could resume their lives’ routine.
