Three people were killed and two brothers were injured by armed men over a land dispute in Ismail Ja Pirr village, Khairpur late Saturday night.
A group of armed men entered the village and raided the house of Nazir Khuhro. They also opened fire, which reportedly killed three people and injured two brothers, and escaped right after the incident. Those killed were identified as Nazir Khuhro, Hakim Khuhro and Majeedan, daughter of Imam Bux Khuhro, and the injured as Bashir Khuhro and a minor girl.
Gulloo Sial police station ASI Ismail Chachar said that Nazir Khuhro was involved in a dispute over a piece of land with a wanted bandit, Nazroo Narejo, who was also behind the attack. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
