Basic medical sciences: CPSP begins 40-day course

More than 200 doctors from across the country are taking the course.

LAHORE: A 40-day basic medical sciences course opened at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, Regional Centre, a CPSP spokesman said on Tuesday. The course has been organised on the instruction of CPSP President Zafarullah Chaudhry. CPSP Senior Vice President Rakhshanda Rehman will supervise it. More than 200 doctors from across the country are taking the course. There will be lectures on physiology, haematology, gynaecology, microbiology, histology and pharmacology. Prof Hamid Javed Qureshi, Prof Tasneem Raza, Prof Mohammad Irfan Ashraf, Prof Mohammad Younas Khan, Prof Brig (retd) Amer Ejaz and Prof Tasneed Raza will deliver these lectures.
