Sindh Assembly passes resolution condemning attack on Express Media

All parties backed the resolution without objections.

KARACHI: The Sindh Assembly on Monday passed a resolution moved by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) representatives  condemning the attack on the Express Media Group office, Express News reported.

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon appreciated the effort put forward by the Express Media Group to inform viewers of the truth and strongly condemned the attack.

Memon also shed light on the security measures provided to the Express Media Group by the Chief Minister of Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah – who had also taken notice of the attack.

All parties backed the resolution without objections.

Two employees, a woman and a guard were injured when four unknown armed persons on motorcycles opened fire at the Express Media office on August 16.

This news reminds me a few lines of urdu poetry. "Daman pay koi daagh na khanjar pay koi CheenT // Tum Qatl Karo ho k karamat karo ho"
