Road Accident: Two killed, nine injured in Shangla

According to the official, residents of Macharh rushed to the site and pulled out the bodies along with the injured.

SHANGLA: At least two people were killed and nine others were severely injured when a vehicle plunged into a deep ravine in Alpuri area of Shangla district in the late hours of Saturday.

Farhad Khan, an official of the Alpuri police, said around 11:30pm, they were informed that a car was en route to Lelonai area from Mingora, Swat when the driver lost control of the vehicle and plunged into a deep ravine in Macharh area of Alpuri. According to the official, residents of Macharh rushed to the site and pulled out the bodies along with the injured. They rushed them to the Saidu Sharif Hospital in Swat, from where the injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
