Addressing a rally in Peshawar, the PTI Chairman said that hospitals will provide free medicines and Peshawar will provide cheap electricity to the entire country.
Talking about sports, he said, "everyone will get a chance to become Shahid Afridi. I will ask Afridi to come to Peshawar and train everyone."
Imran vowed once again that the PTI would change K-P and everyone would be proud that they voted for the party.
'Support Gul Bacha'
Focusing on the upcoming by-elections, Imran called on supporters to vote for the party's NA-1 candidate -- Gul Bacha.
"Gul Bacha has been with us in good and bad times. He will serve you here while I work to establish PTI at a national level," Imran said.
By-elections which are scheduled for August 22, will see Gul contesting for the NA-1 seat which was earlier vacated by the PTI Chairman.
"We cannot lose this seat," Imran urged.
'No diesel permits'
While the PTI Chairman didn't directly mention the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islami Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, his supporters raised slogans against the JUI-F chief during his address.
Amid chants of 'diesel diesel' from rally attendants, Imran said, "we will root out corruption from the province and no one will be allowed diesel permits."
Shortly afterwards, Rehman responded to the PTI Chairman's address by saying that Imran was "neither a good husband nor a good father and there was no way he could become a good leader."

IK and PTI talking Again and no real action behind it will come. Bussiness as usual.
@Aysha M: then your leader must be NS who is having a 03rd tenure in PM house and gives Pak nothing except humiliations like Kargil...God bless your selection and wisdom
If by cheap electricity he means free it makes sense. PEPCO has the highest non-payment figures of them all. During the past 5 years there was a loss of more than Rs. 52 billion at PEPCO. Nobody pays electric bill in Peshawar, why do they not start Tubdeelee from there and receive the dues from KPK?
@Uza Syed: thanks Uza , just 400000 pounds price of a 400 yard house in a middle class locality in karachi and lahore , the money was for the purpose of running the party , and not for thousands of dollars wrist watch.has anybody ever seen Altaaf hussain or other party leaders in designer clothes. Altaaf bhai wears ordinary clothes , shopped from ordinary places , i live in the UK , i have seen his pics wearing 10 pound Tshirts. People dont realise Altaaf Hussain is beyond personal luxuries or benefits. He doesnt do business and no properties in Park Lane .The house he lives in is just middle class area , no surrey palace. I wish people of Pakistan learn to respect only selfless leader we have.
Good luck Ik and PTI atleast you are trying to make things happen in such a complex and dyer circumstances .. where as the rest of the parties whom have governed in last 10 years have given nothing to KPK .. we have big hopes on you and inshaAllah we know you will deliver PTI .. and this change will happen gradually and it will shut up a lot of critics on this forum and the ones out there .
Even if you TRY doing what you have said and it is seen that you have TRIED ............. it would be a start and a commendable one.
Basically he means cheap electricity to Punjab. What is he talking about? Does Peshawar have so much surplus electricity? He is running takht-e-lahore agenda.
imran khan is totally a great leader but kindly tell us when those days will come as we are listenting this statement from time of election.
@Adnan Siddiqi: Unfortunately he does not have a magic wand, unlike our PM. Our PM has indeed achieved a lot in the time his government has been in power. He has elected his own president, with a little assistance from the CJ. Went on to Saudi ostensibly for Umrah with family and friends at tax payer expense no doubt, but really to pay homage to his masters. Flaunted his four million dollar watch in the face of an impoverished nation. Tackled terrorism, by making deals with Punjabi TTP. Tackled the law and order, prime example the Islamabad incident, by sending in an opposition legislator to solve it for him. Sorted out the power cuts, evident from KESC announcement to extend it by another few hours. Last but not least solved the flood situation by flying around in a comfortable air conditioned helicopter over the flood effected area, showing utter disdain for the miserable wretches down below. What else has this government achieved, health, education, railways, corruption, PIA, Steel mill, anything, please anyone illuminate us.
RHETORIC!
@insafian: Because other hide their mistakes and have no courage to told the truth.... After all imran is a human being.... We gave years to the culprits but not ready to give few months to him.... This is the last chance for us, if we lost this man then bye bye to us for ever.... " good luck knock only once but bad luck knocks again and again till open of door" it's now up to us....
http://www.siasat.pk/forum/showthread.php?203125-Pukhtun-female-questions-Imran-Khan, once again ET if not biased in favour of IK pls print the above link
Imran khan must spend all his energy on KPK from where he has his mendate. He has to prove himself here on the ground now if he is to become prime minister in future. If he fails to deliver in KPK now there would be a huge propaganda from his opponents which will prove disasterous for his party future.still the nation is watching him.
@Saleem: Even if British Pounds 400,000 are creating a few of you lots of problems, let me tell you it really is nothing, peanuts so to speak, compare to the $22 Millions that IK swindled in the name of investment in some useless piece of land in UAE which you all have tried to name an "endowment" but post facto. Another one is in making, ever heard about good Dr. Nassrullah M. Khan? Yeah, he has been credited with being the top $$$$ collector / fund raiser for PTI in the US and Caneda, he has been told to shut up when the honest man requested for auditing of the funds. Just wait this story to blow in your faces then we would discuss the life style and financing of some real fictitious honest to God man here.
Just few weeks more, then K.P. will be completely in the hands of Taliban.
Poor Deisel hahahahhahah
Come on Imran. We are with you. The naysayers will always be there. Insha Allah we hope to see you as PM of Pakistan next time.
Massomana Question for N-Leaguers: why has ur party decided to hold LB Polls on Non-Party basis?
all is life Shahid Afridi. is living in karachi..you want him to come to Peshawar and train everyone. This shows the mentality of I.K
Mualana Sahib! everyone is not perfect..even our Quaid e Azam wasn't
Few months... Few weeks... Few days... Few hours... Few minutes... Few seconds... N here we go....... CHANGE
Agree with IK comments, only last rites remains to be performed in just a few weeks more.
@Aysha M:
What is your criteria of leader? Is it with meager income but still be able to stash BP 400,000 under his mattress?
@Shariq: Can u do better ? Ik is a Human being give him time. Ignorant people like you have corrupted the society.
No need for Maulana to get personal. They should both attack each other based on their politics NOT their personal lives. The by-elections will show with whom the people of KPK stand.
IK overrated & ineffective
“prove ourselves but there are a few weeks still left.” in few weeks one can only impose talban 'ideology' so let us wait.
Peshawar will start providing free electricity to the whole country in a few weeks?
PtI is likely to retain all its NA seats (except for NA-1) and maybe even gain a couple of NA seats in bye elections. NA1 sadly is gone cause it was badly mishandled by local chapter and the worst possible candidate nominated for bye elections.A pity because given Bilours record of corruption no amount of courage can make up for that. I hope PTI will learn from this mess up. mistakes can be reversed if a years hard work.
And the KP govt has taken steps in the right direction. No corruption scandals have come forth as yet and while Pujab is probably in better shape right now (keep in mind there is continuity of govt there) KP definitely in better shape than Sindh (where govt is in a constant stupor) and Balochistan (which has no cabinet). appreciate the good things too. see the direction and its definitely better than where ANP and PPP took the province. And if a hypocrite like Fazlur Rehman can be defeated than kudos to IK
Imran Khan dishes out promises but is deficient in any action till now. He is still claiming bombastic changes in a few weeks. One should understand that change is a process not some switch which he will turn on one bright day. I think he should have started chages right away by plucking low hanging fruits which people could see and appreciate. Till now its only hot wind.
Change was coming after 11 May and now change will come after few weeks.Jokers
Shariq: So who should we ask Insaf from? Nawaz Sharif, Altaf Hussain, Fazal ur Rehman, Zardari? Make a pick and tell us also.
@Shariq: Let's leave this to the people to decide whether they wish Maulana or this Khan, one must rely on the wisdom of the voters to see who they consider 'munafiq' and who they trust.
Imran Khan, you should tell the truth to the good people of K-P-K instead of making false promises and creating make believe worlds; believe me this would save the people plent of disappointments and you a lot of embarrassments.
@Shariq: Agreed, IK a genuine philanthropist, but nowhere close to being a leader with a vision
Of all things, if Imran Khan gets us rid of Mr. FUR and his mentality, Pakistan will surely be on the right road.
Define "few weeks" please
Fazal ur Rehman`s reply perfectly applies to Quaid e Azam as well!!!!!
We only hope in Imran Khan we have seen all our politics they destroy the country in 65 years. We have seen Nawaz SHarif Gove 4 times in last 25 years. They are doing Govt in Punjab in last 6 years nothing has changed every years 100s of people died in Floods every years. I dont understand how they even win again and again, one must keep in mind the level of corruption in Pakistan very high.
You are right. He is also the same guy who supported Musharraf's referundum too but he learnt from his mistakes and apologised for it. He was practially the only one at that time who was standing with lawyers and doing street agitation agianst the tyrant.
Long live IK. It has been only few months and already the change has come. It would be worth questioning what has the Maulana achieved in the last ten years (or is twenty) of his political life
Few more weeks!! For crying out loud, KPK had the first government which swore in after 11th May and currently holds the distinction of having the biggest cabinet in Pakistan. Lo and behold, Hazrat Holy Father has now issued an edict that "Tabdeeli" would unveil itself within a few weeks! Buhahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Where was it for the last 3 months?
Imran Khan always talks in "future" tense. First provide food & shelter to dying flood victims in KPK. Stop giving us more promises, you've given us a lot during election bashing.
if I’m not mistaken, this is the same guy that voted in favor of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman for the post of Prime Minister. How does one go from voting for a guy for PM slot to being at loggerheads? And then Imran bhai questions PMLN’s integrity for asking MQM for votes. Who’s the munafiq now, as he so labels Maulana sahib? Imran Khan, you may be a sincere man, but you’re certainly not a leader nor you are capable of handling the country’s affairs. We love you as a sportsman and we will always love you for your social efforts. Just please spare us from your “insaf”.
keep up the good work dear khan....You are the best..
