PFUJ 63rd Foundation Day: Government assures support to media persons

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that journalists’ sacrifices for the democracy and society are countless and remarkable, adding that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government is committed to support the struggle for rights of the media persons.


Addressing the 63rd foundation day event of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), organised by the Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) at the Karachi Arts Council on Saturday, Memon pledged that his support will persist for the rights of the journalists.

He announced that advertisements would not be given to newspapers which don’t pay salaries to employees on time.
