Operation: 11 arrested during raids in Jalozai camp

The raids conducted by Baloch Regiment, Frontier Corps and Nowshera police began at 4am and lasted till 9am.

PABBI: Eleven suspects were arrested in a joint search operation of security forces and the district police in Jalozai Camp, Nowshera on Saturday. DSP Circle Izhar Ahmad said the raids conducted by Baloch Regiment, Frontier Corps and personnel from Nowshera police began at 4am and lasted till 9am. Roads were closed for all kinds of traffic from Mohajir bazaar up to Cherat. Arms and ammunitions were also recovered from the suspects in large numbers, said the official, adding interrogation of the accused was underway and those found innocent would be released. Camp residents appreciated the operation and asked the government to take steps to end the curfew in Bara so internally displaced persons can return to their homes.
