Dengue fever: ‘Ensure cleanliness for better health’

423 beds has been allocated for treatment of dengue.

LAHORE: Labour and Human Resource Minister Ashfaq Sarwar on Friday said the sanitary conditions in workers’ colonies across the province were hazardous for health. He said rain water should be drained from low-lying streets and bazaars of the colonies for protection against dengue fever. He said that strict notice will be taken if any case of dengue was reported from workers’ colonies.He was addressing a dengue fever awareness seminar arranged by Labour and Human Resource Department at Alhamra Hall. He said that 288 health centres of Social Security Department were providing treatment facilities to workers. He said 423 beds had been allocated for treatment of dengue.
